Hi,
My name is Elijah, the founder of TruCompliance Fleet — and like a lot of folks in this industry, my journey started behind the wheel.
I’ve had my CDL since 2016. I started out running over the road, chasing miles and learning the ins and outs of the trucking world. After a while, I switched over to local driving so I could be closer to home, especially after my daughter was born in 2020.
Over the years, I worked for several different trucking companies, seeing firsthand how each one handled safety, compliance, and daily operations. In 2021, I decided to start my own trucking company. Things were going well, until one of my trucks flipped on the highway. Thankfully, everyone made it out safe, but that moment changed everything for me. It opened my eyes to how quickly things can go wrong when even one small detail slips through the cracks.
After that, I knew I wanted to do more than just drive — I wanted to make a difference. So in 2022, I started working as a DOT and Fleet Manager for a P&D company, helping manage compliance, safety, and fleet operations from the inside. That experience gave me a whole new perspective on what it really takes to keep a fleet safe, organized, and compliant day after day.
Then, in January 2025, I took everything I’d learned, from the driver’s seat to fleet management, and launched TruCompliance Fleet.
Now, I help local fleets, P&D operations, and owner-operators stay compliant, safe, and confident in their day-to-day operations. I know what it’s like to juggle drivers, routes, inspections, and all the DOT requirements that come with the job. My goal is to take that stress off your plate, so you can focus on running your business and keeping your people safe.
At TruCompliance Fleet, I help with things like:
DOT compliance and safety management
Driver qualification files and recordkeeping
ELD and hours-of-service monitoring
Safety audits and reviews
Fleet organization and custom compliance programs
Practical, real-world guidance for P&D and local carriers
This isn’t just a business for me — it’s personal. I’ve been through the ups and downs of trucking, from long hauls to local routes, and I know what’s at stake every time those wheels hit the road. My mission is simple: to help fleets stay safe, compliant, and ready for whatever comes next.
If you’re looking for someone who understands trucking from the ground up and truly cares about keeping your drivers and business protected, you’re in the right place.
